Team Manager’s Comment

Round 2 presented a unique set of challenges for both riders, while also providing valuable opportunities to gain experience and continue their development.
JP

Although the team had made significant setup adjustments before the event, the weekend proved to be challenging. A practice sessions were interrupted by trips back to the pits for further bike adjustments. Qualifying was affected by sudden rainfall, and Race 1 was held under difficult mixed conditions, with sections of both dry and wet track.
Despite these obstacles, JP remained composed and completed the race. Although he was unfortunately forced to retire from Race 2 (DNF) following an incident, he was quick to identify areas for improvement and has already established clear goals for the next round.
Beyond the technical progress, this race weekend also highlighted his growing mental strength and maturity as a rider.
Alen

For Alen, this was his first-ever experience racing at Sepang International Circuit.
Compared with his usual training venue, Zhuhai International Circuit, Sepang’s layout, scale, and characteristics presented an entirely new challenge. His primary objective for the weekend was to familiarize himself with the circuit as quickly as possible.
The weekend was far from straightforward. A mechanical issue during Practice 2 caused the chain to drop off, while Race 1 was contested in wet conditions. Despite these setbacks, Alen continued to improve throughout the weekend, consistently lowering his personal best lap time and ultimately finishing 10th in Race 2.
His MSBK debut provided invaluable racing experience and marked another important step in his development as a rider.

Looking Ahead
Round 2 was filled with valuable lessons for the entire team—from adapting to a new racing class and tackling Sepang International Circuit for the first time, to dealing with constantly changing weather conditions.
Thanks to the combined efforts of our riders, mechanics, and crew members, we overcame every challenge together and gained experience that will help us continue moving forward.
More importantly than the race results themselves, this weekend gave us a clearer understanding of the areas we need to improve before the next round. Every lesson learned brings Silver Steed Racing one step closer to achieving even greater goals.
Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our fans for their continued support, as well as to our sponsors and partners who stand beside Silver Steed Racing throughout every challenge.
We will continue to work hard, keep improving one step at a time, and prepare for the next round.
Thank you for your continued support, and we’ll see you at the next race.
